February 1, 2017 (Baltimore, MD) – Kinsley Construction Inc. contracted with PSH 1, LLC, a subsidiary of La Cite Development / BRP Development Corp. to construct two mixed-use buildings bordering the University of Maryland BioPark in Southwest Baltimore.
The Park Square Homes 1 project, designed by Gensler, consists of a five-story, 244,161-sq-ft building with 171 residential units and a four-story, 115,635-sq-ft building with 88 residential units. Each building will include a two-story podium with lobby, retail space, parking and elevated outdoor courtyard. An Energy Star Multifamily High Rise (MFHR) rating is a goal for each residential unit.
This is the first phase of a planned four phase development project in the Poppleton neighborhood. Phase 1 is scheduled for completion in December 2018.
