The Safety Assessment Program (SAP) utilizes architects and engineers as volunteers to assist local governments in safety evaluation of their built environment in the aftermath of a disaster. The program is managed by Cal OES, and has been hosted by AIABaltimore in the past to train over 30 Maryland architects as SAP Evaluators. This year, the Committee on the Environment and Resiliency (COTE | R) wants to survey our members to see if there is interest in holding a SAP training here in Baltimore again this spring.
