Baltimore, MD (March 21, 2017) — Hord Coplan Macht announced today that the firm has named Kevin King, AIA, LEED AP as Principal in the education studio.
King is a leader in Hord Coplan Macht’s higher education planning practice, which includes a vibrant portfolio of work for colleges and universities throughout the country. He brings 30 years of proven experience and possesses a true passion for helping clients realize a vision to support their core mission. King is recognized nationally for his quality of work in design excellence and innovation. His portfolio includes high profile projects for Harvard Medical School, Duke University, and Emory University.

Prior to joining Hord Coplan Macht, King was an Associate Principal for Ayers Saint Gross in Baltimore. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture, a Bachelor of Environmental Design and a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering, all from the University of Kansas. Additionally, King is President of the Board of Directors of Bike Maryland.
