Penza Bailey Architects Welcomes Kelsey Kruse
Penza Bailey Architects is proud to announce that Kelsey Kruse, AIA, has joined the firm as Project Architect. Having worked in the industry for over 35 years, Kelsey’s work has spanned from residential design in The Sea Ranch community in California, to commercial and office design in the Baltimore region. Her specialization includes work for financial institutions including Bank of America and Rosedale Federal Savings & Loan Association. For the past 10 years, she has managed the Fairfield Inn prototype drawings for Marriott International. In 2000, she performed the duties of Graphics Editor for the first edition publication
of Interior Graphic Standards for The American Institute of Architects and John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
As a member of the same graduating class from the University of Cincinnati, College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, Jeff Penza and Laura Thul Penza have known Kelsey for over three decades. “We are thrilled Kelsey has joined the Penza Bailey Architects Team! As a University of Cincinnati classmate, we have known Kelsey for many years. We look forward to working side by side with her again—this time, NOT during all-nighters!” said Laura.
Adam Read Appointed to the AIA Maryland Board of Directors
Adam Read, AIA, Project Architect with Penza Bailey Architects, has been appointed to the 2018 AIA Maryland Board of Directors. Representing the AIA Baltimore Chapter, Adam will serve as Secretary for a 2- year term.
Adam joined Penza Bailey Architects in 2016, and has been working in the industry for over twelve years with an interdisciplinary design portfolio including Residential, Retail, Commercial, and Institutional work.
