AIA Baltimore Members Take Part in 31st Annual Golf Outing

Baltimore, MD (October 11, 2018 ) – On September 21, AIA Baltimore members and friends hit the links for the 31st year for the Annual Golf Outing. 80 golfers played at the Pete Dye-designed, Bulle Rock Golf Course, an 18-hole PGA course in a friendly tournament followed by a BBQ lunch at the clubhouse.
Justin Klein’s “Klein Drive Fundraiser”—where Justin bets he can beat his opponent’s drive—raised $635 for the AIABaltimore Emerging Professional Scholarship.
The winning foursome of the 31st Annual Golf Outing was Erik Baiamonte, AIA (Ammon Heisler Sachs Architects), Roger Schroder, AIA (Ammon Heisler Sachs Architects), and Bill Bennett (Jeffrey Brown Contracting). Joe Taylor (TCA Architects) got closest to the pin, and Arjun Hosakere (Gensler) got longest drive for men.
Door prizes included a Kohler Moxie Shower Head and Converge Multifunction Hand Shower/Shower Head (courtesy of Kohler), and Iron Rooster gift cards.
There was also a golf clinic with Peter Bollman, aka Golf Pro Pete. The participating group may not have won closest to the pin, or longest drive, but they all had a ball.
