Baltimore, MD (February 17, 2020) – Design Collective Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of three new Senior Associates and three new Associates.
Those promoted to Senior Associate include:
Anna Dennis, PLA, ASLA, LEED Green Associate
A landscape architect with over 14 years in practice, Anna has extensive experience in the design and construction of mixed-use development, streetscape and public open space design, as well as charrette-based master planning. Anna is currently working on The Arrowwood, a new multi-family residential development in North Bethesda. She also just completed work on a community engagement process and concept plan for Cab Calloway Square, a three-acre park that provides a much-needed open space amenity in the Druid Heights Neighborhood in Baltimore.
Fiver Soraruf, AIA, LEED AP
An architect with over 12 years of experience, Fiver has worked on several major and award-winning mixed-use projects, including The Pearl in Silver Spring. At the moment, Fiver is working on several more mixed-use residential projects, including Alta Federal Hill in Baltimore. Hanover Square in Houston and University Housing and Student Center at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken.
Jessica Pagan-Aello, AIA, NCARB
Jessica is a registered architect with over 10 years of professional experience at Design Collective. Jessica has worked on some of the firm’s most notable mixed-use student housing and live-learn communities, including the Cook/Douglas Master Plan for Rutgers University and the new Housing Village at the University of South Florida. Jessica is now working on the Living-Learning Community & Entrepreneurship Center at Bowie State University.
Those promoted to Associate include:
Erin Slama, CID, WELL AP
Senior Interior Designer, Erin Slama has over 14 years of professional experience. She has been an integral team member on many mixed-use residential projects for clients including The Hanover Company, EYA, Washington Properties and LCOR. Currently, Erin is working on a mixed-use residential project for Kettler, Brentford at the Mile in Tysons.
Michael Summers, AIA, CDT
An Architect with over 13 years of experience, Michael is well known for his skills in the development of architectural detailing and design as well as building and life safety code analysis. Among his recently completed projects is a new mixed-use residence Hall for the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Michael is presently working on The Gantry, two new mixed-use multi-family buildings, part of the Union Market Redevelopment in Washington, DC. He is also working on a new residence hall for Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa.
Steven Kohl, AIA, CSI, CCS
Steven is a registered architect with over 30 years of professional experience. As the firm’s Specifications Writer, he oversees projects across all sectors and disciplines. A few of the projects he has recently overseen include the recently completed Calvin M. Rodwell Elementary & Middle School Replacement in Baltimore. and the new City Hall in College Park.
