AIA Baltimore and the Baltimore Architecture Foundation (BAF) are monitoring quickly changing developments about the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are committed to the health of our members, staff, and event attendees, and are taking proactive measures. Below are measures we are taking based on recommendations of public health officials at the Centers for Disease Control and the Maryland Department of Health.

Offering webinar access and rescheduling programs
AIA Baltimore and the BAF will offer programs as webinars when possible or reschedule dates. To participate digitally, please continue to register for those events. Information on virtual participation will be sent to registrants. AIA CES LUs will continue to be available for live events conducted via webinar.

All updates will be posted to specific event pages. Please stay tuned to these pages for more info.

Accepting cancellations
Full refunds are available for all existing programs if needed. Notifications will be sent to attendees if events need to be rescheduled.

Committee meetings
Remote access for all committee meetings has been established going forward via tele-conference and screen sharing. Login information will be shared in advance of meetings. Notifications will be sent if cancellations are necessary.

Event and facilities standards
AIA Baltimore and the BAF are taking extra care to maintain clean surfaces and provide hand-washing facilities and access to hand sanitizers. Even so, those who are at higher risk of health complications as a result of the coronavirus should consider staying home and joining meetings and events remotely if possible.
