Baltimore, MD (September 27, 2018) – Penza Bailey Architects is proud to announce that Adam Read and Ryan Behneman have been promoted to Associates of the firm. The firm also congratulates Ryan Behneman for recently obtaining his Maryland Architecture license.
Adam Read, AIA, joined the firm in 2016 and has been working in the industry for over twelve years with an interdisciplinary design portfolio including residential, retail, commercial, and institutional work. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from NSCAD University in Halifax, Canada as well as a Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies and Master of Architecture from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. Adam serves on the 2018 AIA Maryland Board of Directors representing the AIA Baltimore Chapter.
Joining the firm in 2013, Ryan Behneman, AIA, LEED AP’s experience entails a variety of complex project types including religious, community, residential, retail, commercial, and institutional projects. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Masters of Architecture from Savannah College of Art and Design, and has been working in the field since 2007. Ryan’s community volunteerism includes serving as a judge for FIRST Robotics Competition events and a designer for the Neighborhood Design Center West North Avenue Streetscape Masterplan.
