Baltimore, MD (January 2, 2020) – Baltimore architect Anthony J. Gill, AIA, NCARB, CSI, CDT, LEED AP of Marshall Craft Associates, Inc. was selected as 1 of 27 finalists to take part in AIA National’s flagship leadership development program. The AIA Leadership Academy will teach graduate level courses to participants over a three year period beginning in 2020 and ending in 2023 with a focus on firm management, community outreach, and sustained career growth. Educational opportunities will vary from onsite seminars presented by leading industry professionals to webinars prepared by knowledgeable business consultants and prominent architects. The first three day seminar entitled “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” will be held in January at the Center for Architecture in San Antonio, Texas.
In addition to a seat in AIA National’s Leadership Academy, Anthony Gill is organizing a seven day tour of the Venice Architectural Biennale from June 7 – 13, 2020 for local architecture enthusiasts. Anthony and his wife Tracey Clark, both board members of the Baltimore Architecture Foundation (BAF) are planning this trip along with tour guide and Cal Poly Architecture study abroad Professor Tom Rankin, author of “Rome Works” published by Peruzzi Press in 2015.
