Baltimore, MD (May 16, 2017) – American Cedar & Millwork is pleased to announce the grand opening of its fourth showroom, located at 1404 Bare Hills Ave in Baltimore’s historic Mount Washington neighborhood. The 4,000-square foot space is a place for architects, builders and homeowners to work with industry experts on their projects and browse a variety of high quality building products.
“We are thrilled to open our design studio,” said Jackie Browning, V.P. of Business & Architectural Development. “We envisioned the design studio as much more than a showroom. It will be a central meeting place for architects, contractors and homeowners to plan their projects, get educated, and access design and building resources. We want to be a key partner in bringing our clients’ vision to life.”
The studio will be open 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and Saturday from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. It will also be open after hours by appointment.
Educational programs for certifications, training and AIA credits, as well as special networking events, will be held in the large, state of the art meeting room on the showroom floor. Rich Brady, General Manager of American Cedar & Millwork’s Millersville location said, “It was important to open the studio in North Baltimore to support our loyal custom home builders, contractors and architects, as well as to support Jackie’s diligent efforts to continue to serve and support the architectural community.”
The Design Studio offers clients quality windows, interior and exterior doors, custom wood entry doors, kitchen and bath cabinetry, mouldings, hardware, decking and rails and cedar siding.
Showcased products include Marvin and Integrity windows; Simpson, Signature and Therma Tru Doors; Wolf Decking; Westbury Aluminum Railing; Intex Millwork and American Cedar & Millwork’s name branded mouldings. In addition, there will be a fully operational kitchen to be used for demonstrations and events, as well as to showcase the latest cabinets from Omega Dynasty and Wellborn, and the latest trends in countertops and hardware.
Jackie is proud to have on her team Dave Welk and Brian Barton, both seasoned experts with twenty-five years of experience in the custom window and door industry, as well as two extremely accomplished kitchen and bath designers, Sara Fritz and Suzanne Stevens. In addition, Jackie proudly serves as a board member of AIABaltimore and chair of the AIABaltimore Allied Members Committee. She is also an accredited AIA CE provider to the architectural community through American Cedar and Millwork. Jackie was awarded the 2015 AIABaltimore President’s Award “Consultant of the Year.” She has over 25 years of experience as an expert consultant for custom windows and doors.
The studio will formally open its doors to the public with a week-long open house celebration, beginning Monday, June 5.
