ARE Prep / Licensure

There are many resources for Emerging Professionals to access to study for the ARE, register for the ARE and continue to develop their architectural careers.

AIA Baltimore annually organizes Achieving Registration Together (ART), a series of ARE study sessions with tips and practice led by experts and fellow EPs.

ARE® 5.0

ARE® 5.0 features six divisions organized around the progression of a typical architecture project and current practice. The divisions reflect the same areas outlined in the AXP. To start the exam, you’ll need to select a jurisdiction. You’ll also need an active NCARB Record.
