Baltimore, MD (February 2, 2017) — Hord Coplan Macht announced today that the firm has named Chan Byun, AIA, LEED AP as Principal and Senior Designer in the education studio.
Byun is a leader in Hord Coplan Macht’s higher education practice, which includes a vibrant portfolio of work for colleges and universities throughout the country. He brings 27 years of proven experience and possesses a true passion for design across a wide array of markets and building types. Mr. Byun is recognized nationally and internationally for his quality of work in design excellence and innovation. His portfolio includes projects for Virginia Tech, Boston College and the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Prior to joining Hord Coplan Macht, Byun was a Senior Designer for EYP in Boston, MA and previously served as Design Principal for CannonDesign. He holds a Master of Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University.
